Traci's legal career spans both the public and private sectors, combining diverse legal experience with a passion for service and advocacy. She gained early experience in federal, state, and administrative law through clerkships with the Texas Medical Center, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). She went on to serve as a prosecutor at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, where she tried numerous felony cases and helped establish a new division dedicated to addressing bond reform for repeat offenders. In private practice, she honed her skills in civil and commercial litigation at prominent Texas firms. She also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston Law Center, where she taught Pre-Trial Litigation.

Beyond her legal practice, Traci is deeply engaged in civic leadership and the advancement of the legal profession.
